Where this widget fits
Use the silver set for common US 90% and 40% issues or the gold set for six common US gold types. The compact table is a metal reference, not a grade, rarity, or authenticity check.

Frequently asked questions
Which coins does the melt value widget show?
The silver set covers Morgan and Peace dollars, 90% half dollars, quarters and dimes, 1965–1970 Kennedy halves, and war nickels; the gold set covers six common US gold types.
How are the coin melt values calculated?
Each value is the coin's documented pure-metal content in troy ounces multiplied by the current silver or gold price.
Can visitors switch between silver and gold coin sets?
The publisher chooses the silver or gold set in the embed code. Use the selector above to generate the version you want to publish.
Are coin collector premiums included?
No. The table shows contained-metal value only; dates, mint marks, condition, varieties, and authenticity can make a coin worth more or less to a collector.
