Where this widget fits
The embedded calculator includes the same four weight units and tested silver purity choices on every site. Its result is a gross metal benchmark, not an appraisal or an offer to buy.

Troubleshooting
- If nothing appears, use an HTML or code block; visual editors can remove iframes.
- If the widget is cut off, increase only the iframe height.
- If it says Delayed, the fallback remains visible and the feed retries automatically every 60 seconds.
- If a strict Content Security Policy blocks it, allow
https://meltoffer.cominframe-src.
Privacy and data
MeltOffer sets no widget cookies or analytics and does not store calculator inputs. The visitor's browser loads the iframe from MeltOffer and requests current precious-metal prices from Gold API, which receives standard request data including the visitor's IP address. See the privacy policy.

Frequently asked questions
How does the silver calculator widget work?
It converts the entered weight to troy ounces, multiplies by the selected silver purity, then multiplies by the live or editable silver price.
Which silver purities and units are supported?
It supports .999 fine, .925 sterling, .900 coin, and .800 silver with grams, grains, pennyweight, troy ounces, and avoirdupois ounces.
Can visitors edit the silver price?
Yes. MeltOffer loads a current price when available but keeps the price field visible and editable so visitors can verify another quote or snapshot.
Is the silver calculator widget free?
Yes. It needs no account or API key, and MeltOffer does not store the weights, purities, prices, or results entered in the widget.
