Install the WordPress plugin

Download the installable plugin ZIP, upload it under Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, activate it, then add [meltoffer_widget] in a Shortcode block.

Choose a widget with attributes such as [meltoffer_widget type="calculator" metal="gold"] or [meltoffer_widget type="prices" metal="silver" theme="dark" size="compact"]. The package is ready for direct installation; a WordPress.org listing has not been approved yet.

Install on WordPress.com

  1. Edit the page, post, or template.
  2. Add a Custom HTML block and paste the copied embed code.
  3. Preview the block, then update the page.

WordPress.com restricts iframe code to paid plans with hosting features. On unsupported plans the editor may remove it. See the official Custom HTML block instructions.

Install on Shopify

  1. Open Online Store, Themes, then Edit theme.
  2. Select the exact page template, add a Custom liquid section, and paste the copied embed code.
  3. Position the section and save. Use a dedicated template when the widget should appear on only one page.

Section availability depends on the theme. Check Shopify's official sections and blocks guide before editing theme code.

Install in plain HTML

Paste the copied embed code, both the iframe and the attribution line under it, where the widget should appear. Keep the attribution line visible; that credit is the condition for free use. If your site sends a Content Security Policy, allow https://meltoffer.com in its frame-src directive. Adjust only the iframe height when content is clipped.

Are MeltOffer widgets free?

Yes. They require no account, API key, or payment and include a small attribution link to MeltOffer.

How often do widget prices update?

Each widget loads a current price immediately, refreshes every 60 seconds, and refreshes when a hidden browser tab becomes visible again.

Can I use a dark theme?

Yes. Select dark on this page or add theme=dark to any widget URL.

Do the widgets track visitors?

No. MeltOffer sets no widget cookies or analytics; the iframe requests MeltOffer's same-origin market snapshot and falls back to a server-rendered value if that request fails.

Why does my site remove the widget code?

Some hosted editors restrict iframe or custom HTML blocks by plan or theme. Use the platform's supported custom-code block and preview before publishing.
