Change any option to load its live preview. This keeps embedded noindex metadata out of the parent page seen by crawlers.
Install on WordPress.com
- Edit the page, post, or template.
- Add a Custom HTML block and paste the copied iframe.
- Preview the block, then update the page.
WordPress.com restricts iframe code to paid plans with hosting features. On unsupported plans the editor may remove it. See the official Custom HTML block instructions.
Install on Shopify
- Open Online Store, Themes, then Edit theme.
- Select the exact page template, add a Custom liquid section, and paste the copied iframe.
- Position the section and save. Use a dedicated template when the widget should appear on only one page.
Section availability depends on the theme. Check Shopify's official sections and blocks guide before editing theme code.
Install in plain HTML
Paste the iframe where the widget should appear. If your site sends a Content Security Policy, allow https://meltoffer.com in its frame-src directive. Adjust only the iframe height when content is clipped.
Frequently asked questions
Are MeltOffer widgets free?
Yes. They require no account, API key, or payment and include a small attribution link to MeltOffer.
How often do widget prices update?
Each widget loads a current price immediately, refreshes every 60 seconds, and refreshes when a hidden browser tab becomes visible again.
Can I use a dark theme?
Yes. Select dark on this page or add theme=dark to any widget URL.
Do the widgets track visitors?
No. MeltOffer sets no widget cookies or analytics; the browser contacts Gold API for the live price and falls back to a server-rendered value if that request fails.
Why does my site remove the widget code?
Some hosted editors restrict iframe or custom HTML blocks by plan or theme. Use the platform's supported custom-code block and preview before publishing.
